Salt Lake City Fatal Pedestrian Accident

The Salt Lake Tribune reported a tragic Utah pedestrian accident that resulted in the death of a 53-year-old man. The accident occurred on March 17th when Kelly Dale Almond was walking out from behind a parked truck in downtown Salt Lake City. He was struck by a speeding vehicle and immediately rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. Three days later, Almond died from serious head and abdominal injuries. Authorities are still investigating the accident and trying to determine whether the driver of the vehicle was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
