Salt Lake City Bicyclist Involved in Hit-and-Run Accident

KSL News reported a serious Utah hit-and-run accident involving a bicyclist on Tuesday morning. According to police, the cyclist was crossing the street in downtown Salt Lake City and a car suddenly turned into him. The impact was severe enough to cause the rear tire of the bike to land 20 feet away from the rest of the bicycle. The woman driving the car exited the vehicle, looked at the cyclist, and proceeded to reenter the car and drive away. The cyclist suffered injuries, including facial injuries, and was taken to the hospital. Investigators believe the woman is between 20 and 40 years of age with brown hair.
